ABOUT:

Daigoro Sasaki is a London based visual artist and photographer, moved to the UK in London in 2000.

His works explore "the visible and the invisible" which is an unclear vision between physical and psychological viewpoints. His style of work is based on the visual phenomenons and psychology within the thought of memory & time axises "an immersive visual phenomenological and theatrical sense" and "a narratively memorable images" in photography, video works, mixed media, performances and installations.

"The immersive phenomenological and theatrical sense...."

The phenomenological space through the experimental visualisations is mainly made from the light effects (light logics) of reflections, projections, transparency, shadings or any lighting elements uses, and also the inclusion of the visual psychological elements from environments, movements, objects, time, sounds, plants or creatures etc. And the atmosphere also relates to a part of the theatrical sense like a memorized or light scape....

"The narratively memorable images...."

The image works are purely belonging to the notion of memory & time, that is evoked narratives, story-tales and fictions within realities like "a narrative storytelling with memorable sense like a hyperreal story”. His is seeking the balance of the story between half-fiction and half-reality from the defining of the visible and the invisible. It is a deep transparency tale...

In those senses, the reality can be considered to include all that exists, including the fictitious and imaginary also....

The visible and the invisible....
